Both of these can cause damage to parts of the brain become damaged resulting in loss of function or control of the body is regulated by parts of the brain are damaged. For example, the paralysis of the arms or legs, or become difficult to speak. This damage can be permanent or temporary, can also partially or completely.
If the blockage or bleeding that can be immediately known and treated by a doctor, the possibility to restore blood flow to the brain can be done and the risk of damage is lowered.

Prostate diseases in

The prostate gland is an organ that is classified as a part of the reproductive system that only exist in men, which is located in the lower abdomen, below the bladder and surrounds the urinary tract. Function of the prostate is to produce seminal fluid that dissolves the sperm produced by the testes (the testicles are inside the bag).
At a young age males, prostate roughly the size slightly larger than cashew nuts (about 4 × 2cm), and will grow as you get older. There are 3 common disease attacks the prostate, namely: benign prostate enlargement (benign prostate hyperplasia / BPH), prostatitis (inflammation of the prostate gland), and prostate cancer.

Benign prostate enlargement (BPH)

BPH is a disease that often occurs in older men age, the prostate naturally because it will enlarge slowly with age. When the prostate enlarges, it can cause urinary tract and cause suppression of urine flow became slower.
The symptoms of BPH occurs gradually. One of the early symptoms of the most common is frequent waking at night to urinate. In the day time it would normally be more frequent urination.
In addition, there can be difficulty to start urinating and urine dripping after urination. Number and strength of the art water jet will also decrease. However, all of these symptoms may occur in other diseases, such as urinary tract infection or bladder cancer.
If these things happen, immediately consult a good physician customers. One of the actions to be performed physician examination is check the plug anus with a finger that is wearing gloves & lubricant to determine the size of the prostate.
In addition, the doctor will also ask for the laboratory tests of blood and urine to see if it had something to do with infection or malignancy. For other investigations, the doctor will do an ultrasound so that the diagnosis can be determined precisely.
After the doctor to make sure that happens is BPH, then the treatment can be done in accordance with the conditions / symptoms. Sometimes, for mild symptoms, may disappear by itself. If symptoms occur even more severe, the doctor will refer the patient to a surgeon or urologist for surgery.
Operation to date is considered to be the most effective action for BPH with severe symptoms. There are various techniques of surgery for BPH, including the conventional way is by surgery through the abdomen, or with surgical instruments are inserted through the urinary tract so that there is no incision.
Operation certainly has risks, such as bleeding, infection, or impotence, but this is rarely the case, especially if the operation is done with good planning. For patients who refuse or do not allow surgery, there are other treatment alternatives, namely by taking drugs, but the results are not as effective as surgery.
Drugs like Finasterid and the like can inhibit hormone produced by the body that causes the prostate to enlarge. However, these drugs are not effective for all patients with BPH. Side effects of the drug is decreased sexual function is missing so the drug use is discontinued.
In addition to these drugs, there are also drugs known as alpha blockers such as Tamsulosin and the like. These drugs have long been used for treatment of high blood pressure, but it can also be used to reduce the symptoms arising from BPH. However, these drugs may not be effective for all patients.
The side effects of this drug is a weak sense of the missing body and sleepy so drug use is discontinued.
Inflammation of the prostate gland (prostatitis)

Prostatitis is a prostate swelling with pain. This disease can be caused by a urinary tract infection or an infection that spreads through the blood. This disease can occur slowly and often recur, or occur rapidly. The most frequent cause of infection is bacterial.
This disease causes pain in the hip, waist, until the penis and scrotum, accompanied by spasms of the muscles in the bladder and pelvis. In addition, it can be accompanied by symptoms such as more frequent urination and can not be retained, plus pain when urinating or heat. Pain may also occur at the time of erection or ejaculation.
Other symptoms that may occur are difficulty or pain when bowel movements, fever, until the presence of blood in the urine. If it happens in a long time, prostatitis can cause fertility problems.
In the event of the above symptoms, immediately consult a good physician customers. On examination, the prostate will get swollen and painful when palpated through the inspection of the anal plug. Laboratory examination of urine infection can be found. If the infection is not caused by bacteria, it is usually difficult to treat.
Treatment is usually done routinely massage the prostate through the rectum and a heated seat. Muscle relaxation techniques can also reduce muscle tension that causes pain. To difficulty / painful bowel movements, can be used laxatives.
Pain-reducing medication and anti-inflammatory properties can also be used to relieve pain. In addition, drugs that are commonly used for BPH drugs known as alpha blockers to relax the muscles around the prostate so that pain can be reduced. For prostatitis are caused by bacteria, antibiotics can be used in the long term.
Sometimes, surgery is also required if all of the above treatments are less effective. Surgical techniques performed similarly to surgery performed to treat BPH.

Prostate Cancer

Cancer is a disease that is 'scary'. Cancer is the abnormal growth and uncontrolled body cells. Prostate cancer is a group of abnormal cells in the prostate gland.
Prostate cancer may be a malignant, fast-growing and can spread to other organs in the body (metastasis). In addition there is prostate cancer grow slowly experienced by some patients with prostate cancer, so patients are asymptomatic or experience mild symptoms so that they can live like someone who does not have cancer.
Prostate cancer is one type of cancer that most often occurs in older men age. Prostate cancer usually affects men over the age of 50 years. On the one contained in the family history of prostate cancer will have prostate cancer risk level is higher.
The symptoms that occur in patients with prostate cancer are:
- Difficulty urinating

If palpable prostate hard part, the doctor may suspect a prostate cancer. Investigations that may be requested by the physician is a laboratory for blood & urine also ultrasonography.
Laboratory tests for blood screening is usually done for prostate cancer is the PSA (prostate specific antigen). In patients with prostate cancer, PSA levels in the blood will be higher than normal.
Treatment for prostate cancer is tailored to the type of cancer experienced. For prostate cancer grows slowly, the action is usually done is 'waiting with caution', which is to let the cancer without any treatment but patients must control to the doctor regularly so that when things get changed / deteriorated, doctors can perform early treatment.
For prostate cancer is fast-growing or slow-growing and the condition worsens, surgery can be performed (one of which removal of the prostate), radiation (using x-rays to kill cancer cells), or hormonal treatment (to slow the growth of cancer cells). However, all these medications usually have side effects such as impotence and incontinence.
